Welcome, Huskies of 1969!

Huskies classmates

Welcome to the South Hills High School Class of 1969 Web site. This site was created to give members of the Class of 1969 a place to meet and reconnect. It is a place where we not only can share memories of South Hills High, but we can also let others know what we’ve done since graduation.

This is a member-only Web site; you must be a member to add information articles, and photos. It can be viewed by anyone, but only class members can add to it.

Again, welcome to the South Hills High School Class of 1969!

Still Booming...

“We stand today on the edge of a new frontier—the frontier of the 1960s, a frontier of unknown opportunities and perils, a frontier of unfulfilled hopes and threats. The new frontier of which I speak is not a set of promises—it is a set of challenges.” Prophetic words, spoken by John F. Kennedy at his innauguration in January, 1961. Who amongst us would predict what we’d be like in the 21st century? Sure, Lennon and McCartney sang famously about “When I’m Sixty-Four," but it takes another song—the Battle Hymn of the Baby Boomers—to tell it like it is (or, shouldn’t) be…

Alma Mater

Oh South Hills High, we love so well
The school we hold so dear.

The fond thoughts of the green and gold,
Staying through each passing year.

And though we go our separate ways,
Our mem'ries we will hold.

We won't forget dear South Hills High,
We'll remember the green and gold.

Fight Song

Oh, when the Green and Gold break through the line
We're going to win this game, and that's a sign
We're gonna fight, fight, fight, for victory
until our name goes down in football history.

We're going to cheer, cheer, cheer, at every game.
Above the rest you'll always hear the name.
Above the rest you'll always hear the name (hear the name)
South Hills High!
