What is a Baby Boomer?
"We have met the enemy, and it is Us!"
A Boomer is us, shipmates. Look into a mirror every once in awhile…“It” is catching up with, well, most of us. Whether you’re a Democrat (that is, Socialist?), Republican (that is, a Fascist?), or a member of either a Tea Party or Coffee Party (dis)orgnization, you’re united in both a commonality and a singularity:
You are a Baby Boomer.
Wonder why there’s no catchy song that captures our cultural state? There is—and here it is:
Oh South Hills High, we love so well
The school we hold so dear.
The fond thoughts of the green and gold,
Staying through each passing year.
And though we go our separate ways,
Our mem'ries we will hold.
We won't forget dear South Hills High,
We'll remember the green and gold.
